Mom's Afghan

I made this afghan a few years ago for my mom. You can't really see it in this picture, but there are zigzag diagonals throughout the afghan. The pattern is from Crochet with Heart magazine. The yarn is Red Heart fleck. I don't think they make that yarn anymore. I wish they did because I liked it and would like to have some more.

Lovely job. It must have gotten tedious near the end, though. It's huge!

HI, I read your blog and saw the lovely afghan you knit your mom. I think they have some fleck at the local ACMoore's in Vestal,Ny. If you want I can look for you and let you know how much it is and what color it is. I think it's like beige that Í have seen recently.
I knit my stepdd an afghan in royal blue and white fleck strips. My younger ds wanted it, so she let him have it (with the promise I'd knit her another one). He lived in Florida for almost a yr and someone stold the afghan along with lots of other things.
